
A Set Variable gives the operator the ability to change a Variable, whether it be a number, option, true/false or text style Variable. If you want to understand how Variables work see: Using Variables
e.g. if you wanted your operator to change a Variable to control audience size, difficultly rating or lighting levels.
To create any Dashboard widget, you need to check the box marked customise.

As with any Dashboard widget, you will see how it will look to the operator in the left hand side of the Scene panel.

- Renaming - click on the name at the top to change the name of the Variable reading
- Show label - check or uncheck the box to display or not display the name
- Set Variable - choose from any Show & Scene Variables you have created
- Enabled - choose from a dropdown when you want this Set Variable to be accessible by the operator
- Show Dashboard
- During show - the operator can only access this Set Variable after the show has Started
- Always - the operator can access this Set Variable at any time
- Before show starts - the operator can only access this Set Variable when the show is in the Reset or Pre-Show state, but not when the show has Started
- With condition - the operator can access this Set Variable when chosen condition(s) is (are) met which include inputs, outputs & Variables
- With custom condition - the operator can access this Set Variable when a custom condition is met. See Using Custom conditions
- Scene Dashboard
- During scene - the operator can only access this Set Variable when the Scene is active
- With condition - the operator can access this Set Variable when chosen condition(s) is (are) met which include inputs, outputs & Variables
- With custom condition - the operator can access this Set Variable when a custom condition is met. See Using Custom conditions

- Add item to row - you can add other Dashboard widgets to the same row, including
