
A text box looks at a specific inputs & outputs that are able to have a text representation of what they are doing. e.g. if it is a motor output it will show the direction the motor is going.
To create any Dashboard widget, you need to check the box marked customise.

As with any Dashboard widget, you will see how it will look to the operator in the left hand side of the Scene panel.

- Renaming - click on the name at the top to change the name of the Text box reading
- Show label - check or uncheck the box to display or not display the name
- Set the channel - choose from Motor outputs, RFID Readers & 'text type' Show & Scene Variables, as these all have text displays (you need to have added these types of functions for them to appear in the dropdown menu)
- Has target value - check the box to set a target value of your widget. If the Channel/Variable matches your target it will display as green
