The Dashboard is a place to create widgets which can either be visual representation of inputs, outputs and variables, OR an interactive element for the operator to use - this could be a button that activate actions or a dropdown that changes Variables.
There are two places the Dashboard can appear.
- Show Dashboard - appears in the left hand menu when the show is live. This can be edited in the Show settings
- Scene Dashboard - appears in each Scene's UI. This can be edited from the Dashboard tab in each scene.
Dashboard widgets are useful if the operator need to see a particular input(s) (e.g. a set of RFID readers, so they could give the best hint if they see the audience is going wrong) OR if you need the operator to change a variable which effects the show or scene (e.g. to adjust audio, lighting levels or even difficulty rating).
Depending on what you want to display or interact with on your Dashboard, you will need to check the box 'customise' and choose from a selection of widgets:
