Servo channels are used to control servos across their range of movement and vary their speed. They can only be used with the Servo Master.
You are able to vary the speed and change the position as part of your Update channel actions.
Adding
- In Channels click 'Add channel' and select 'Servo'
- Enter a name that you would like to call it
- You will be presented with the channel view
Current Position & Speed

Current Position - the current position the servo is at.
- This is controlled by adjusting the slider or inputting a value.

Current Speed - The input and title of this box changes when the Servo is set to Constant Time or Constant Speed in the Movement type field.
- Constant Time - This is controlled by inputting a value (in seconds)
- Constant Speed - This is controlled by inputting a value (in microseconds per second - μs / s)
- These values will show the current status of a virtual or real channel
Settings
- Position Limits - This will ensure that (when set) you servo won't move past either of these limits, which may bring it out of the servo's range of movement.
- Voltage - Set the voltage of the servo that you're controlling - you can connect 4-10V servos.

Movement Type - This will dictate how he servo will move between positions.

Constant Time - "0s", "1s", "5s", etc. This is how long the servo will take to move to the new position.
- E.g. If it's travelling over a short distance with a Speed of 1s, it'll take 1s and will move slowly to the new position. If it's travelling over a long distance with a Speed of 1s, it will move quickly to the new position.

Constant Speed - "450μs/s", "1500μs/s", etc. This is how long the servo will take to move to the new position.
- E.g. If it's travelling over a short distance with a Speed of 450μs/s, it'll take 450μs to move to the new position and will move quickly to the new position. If it's travelling over a long distance with a Speed of 450μs/s, it will move slower to the new position.

Constant Time - "0s", "1s", "5s", etc. This is how long the servo will take to move to the new position.
- Easing - this will toggle on or off the easing on the servo - meaning it will slowly ramp up to speed when starting to move to the new position.
- Default Position - allows you to change the default position of the servo. This will be the position in the Reset state and at the beginning of your show.
- Default Speed - this is the default speed of the servo, which it will always revert to in the Reset state. If you never choose to change the speed in your Behaviours, this will be the speed the servo always moves at.
Saved Positions
If you wish to move your servo to set positions throughout your show, you can create multiple Saved Positions and reference these within your behaviours.
In your Update Values action, select ["Servo Name"] Position, and click the drop down, and you will see and be able to select your saved position.
Patching
- From here you can patch the channel to any available Servo Master channels
- If it appears blank you need to create a box in devices in order to patch (see Adding boxes)
